Growing up I always found refuge from the realities of a mundane life in my imagination. I spent my youth daydreaming about worlds and lives more exciting than my own, and then acting them out in the back woods of North Carolina, and later the deserts and mountains of Arizona. It seems I had only one dream when I was young, and that was to live an interesting, unapologetic life. I’m still striving for that everyday.
After several years and a lot of life experiences, I finished my first book…and never published it. Then I finished a second, shorter work and thought it was okay enough to publish. I don’t consider myself a writer or an artist. But I do know I like to create, whether that be with pictures, videos, or other forms of storytelling. I guess that means I’m a creator? I don’t know. But I do know my journey’s not yet over.
